MGMA Announces New Space in Innovative Health Tech Hub
New hub in Denver will bring together diverse health and technology innovators on cutting edge of health care industry
Englewood, Colo. – The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), an organization representing medical practice leaders across the country, today announced new space in the Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation development, an innovative health tech hub in Denver, joining other health-focused organizations, practice groups, health finance companies, and high-tech organizations on the cutting edge of the changing health care industry.
“This new space in the Catalyst hub will allow us to collaborate in a way that’s never been done before,” said MGMA President and CEO Halee Fischer-Wright, MD. “As the health care industry grows and changes, MGMA is growing and changing too. The addition of this new, collaborative space reflects our commitment to shaping the future of health care and to serving and representing our members and customers even better.”
The 5,000 square foot addition to MGMA’s current campus in Englewood will be part of the Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation development, encompassing a full city block in the River North neighborhood of Denver. The additional space will provide an environment for MGMA staff and leaders to collaborate with other industry leaders on developing efficient and cost-effective strategies for medical practices and improving care for patients.
Opening in 2018, Catalyst will bring together health systems, entrepreneurs, health finance companies, and some of the largest high tech organizations in the country with the goal of developing innovative solutions to issues in our health care delivery system and creating sustainable change in the industry.
“As an organization at the forefront of the health care industry, MGMA is an essential partner in this new, collaborative health care hub, reflecting the rapidly changing nature of health care in this country,” said Mike Biselli, president of Catalyst HTI.
For years, MGMA has long been seen as a data-driven leader in the industry and has played a leading role in providing resources and as a strong voice on the business of health care. MGMA joins other prominent partners in the new space, including BurstIQ, a company that helps organizations make better use of health data, and CirrusMD, an organization that incorporates virtual health technology into electronic medical records, with many more to come.
