“We were onboard at the inception, when Mike Biselli first announced his brainchild, Catalyst. We always knew we wanted to base ourselves here and be part of the innovation in health and care that Catalyst’s vision stands for,” explained Doug Krug, co-founder of the Institute.
With a 20-year track record of designing and implementing successful national health reform initiatives for Medicare and US Health & Human Services, the Institute’s mission is two-fold.
First, to serve Healthcare reform through leading projects, work with members of the Catalyst ecosystem to assist their innovation journey. Second, to advance the 100%/ZERO initiative – that 100% of aging adults in Colorado receive 100% of the care and services they want 100% of the time with ZERO excuses.
“We’re here at Catalyst because our core work is about leading change by creating ways to unlearn the belief systems that have us stuck, working harder and harder to get results that don’t allow real progress,” commented Christine Kahane, the institute’s co-founder.
“It’s got to work for everyone. The current system in place is not taking care of some of the most vulnerable parts of our communities. Our Institute is deeply committed to ensuring this changes,” said Mr. Krug.
Rocio Duran joins the team with her background in community psychology, as an expert in multi-cultural integration. The Institute has developed a multi-cultural leadership program, which brings teams together through the expression, and integration of their cultures, and diversity, in turn, making them more innovative. “When we are able to step into our differences and embrace them as possibility, we can build together to connect our worlds,” explained Mrs. Duran.
“I’m incredibly excited to have the Institute’s leadership at Catalyst. They bring a tremendous wealth of knowledge and we are already experiencing incredible breakthroughs due to their presence on our campus. This is just the beginning,” stated Mike Biselli, president of Catalyst HTI.
